New Z06 Sighting?

I haven’t written much about my “other” interest here. Cars. Fast cars. I own a 2002 Corvette Z06. If you’re not a car person, you probably haven’t heard that the new Corvette C6 has been released. More info here and some great pictures here.

The “Z06″ version of the Corvette is the high performance version. It’s pretty much a street legal race car minus some stuff like roll cage, oil & transmission cooler, and some other boring car stuff. It’s not quite as fast as a viper off the line (better brakes though), but the Z06 is faster than many much more exotic cars (some ferraris etc). It’s a wicked fast car (some say stoopid fast). I love driving it.

Anyway, the point of this post is that we Corvette fans are eagerly awaiting the new Z06. Nobody knows anything about it. Inquiring minds want to know. So here’s the thread at corvetteforum.com about a possible sighting of a prototype Z06. You decide…
