“As he stared at her ample bosom, he daydreamed of the dual Stromberg carburetors in his vintage Triumph Spitfire, highly functional yet pleasingly formed, perched prominently on top of the intake manifold, aching for experienced hands, the small knurled caps of the oil dampeners begging to be inspected and adjusted as described in chapter seven of the shop manual.”

This is from the Bulwer-Lytton Fiction Contest and I recommend that you check out the other fine examples of writing craftsmanship hidden there like little tasty chocolate eggs. Yum, chocolate.

BTW, I’m not sure how this happened, but it appears the linked webpage was authored in 1987. By Chimpanzees. Kudos to the author for nice use of the font tag. I can read the page just fine. From 1.2 miles away! :-P
