Everyone is affected by Cancer and our story is not unique or sadly uncommon at all. We had a friend pass away a couple of years ago. She was thirty seven. She was a friend of B’s from nursing school.

This article about a new gene therapy approach to curing Cancer is fantastic news.

Hopefully we can also make some progress against Parkinson’s disease, which also hits close to home for me.

I can’t believe this guy. I think he must just be dim. What worries me is other dim people listening to him and getting hurt. Check out the latest crap-o-la from Mr. Cruise. Unbelievable.

I dislike this guy about as much as I’ve disliked any celebrity. I usually don’t pay much attention to this kind of thing, but his stance on psychiatry and medication is just wrong. And evil.

I’m pretty much done seeing his movies, I think. Up until all this, I thought he was fine as the lead in the big budget action movies. But it turns out he’s as vapid as the movies he’s usually in.

I think the only entity I hate worse that Tom Cruise is Sony. Here’s why.

I know this is nothing compared to the real disaster down south, but this has me spitting nails. See there’s this car wash near my house where all these very tame ducks lived and they’re been there for years. They have raised a little duck family that people with kids come visit to feed and play with, and they have just been part of the town, you know, like little duck neighbors.

But not any more. Some psychopathic fuck ran over all of them in his red Acura and then he turned his car around and ran over them again and then he stopped and got out of his car and then he did some more evil things. To tame ducklings. To geriatric senior citizen ducks. I’ve met these ducks a few times. At the car wash. At the Chevron next door. They were fine, neighborly ducks, worthy of bread crumbs and a smile, not a horrible, unprovoked, bloody massacre.

The car wash has surveillance video of him perpetrating his evil evil deed but unfortunately the video is too blurry to figure out who he is. The good news is that quite a few people have donated money as a reward to motivate someone to turn this waste of skin in (up to $19,000 now) – so I’m not the only one outraged by this. I can’t believe someone would do this. Maybe I’m just naive. But it sure brings out the homicidal feelings in me. I think this shithead should be run over by his own car, several times, just so he can see how it feels. Some percentage of me doesn’t mean this literally, but depending on when you catch me, this percentage is as low as his act was evil.

Like I said, it’s nothing compared to what’s happening in New Orleans, they are just ducks and not people, but it was truly an evil act, by a clearly evil person and it really upset me when I heard about it a few weeks ago. Close to home and all that.

I think I could probably find the video online somewhere, but I don’t think I’d want to see it. I’ll leave you with this picture of the car though.

I can’t believe this. I just listened to the reading of the Michael Jackson verdict. Not guilty on all counts. Unfrickin’ believable. How disillusioning. I guess money means innocent. Seems so wrong to me. I just don’t believe he’s innocent.

He’s gone to the great coral reef in the sky. Er, the great coral reef in the ocean. Er, the great lobster pot in the sky. Er, he bought the lobster farm. Dammit, none of these is working. Read about Bubba’s last ride. Truly a part of me mourns his passing. A small part of me. A tiny part of me. But it’s there. What a sentimental sap I am. He was after all about 100 years old. Something significant about that.
